Hey folks! Art school is going great-- I've made honors for the past two terms (alright, it's college illustration, not exactly rocket science but AY lemmie brag) and I'm learning tons of different and very cool software! I've gotten over my fear of Illustrator, learned some new tricks in Animate, and right now I'm getting familiar with Maya. I've also been brushing up on my business skills, but boy, that one's always been kinda tough for me. I'm doin' my best, though! I've even handed out business cards! It was once. One person has my business card. But if they need a comic drawn or a book illustrated, they'll HAVE that card, damn it!
I've also had the chance to learn about some of the game, animation, and film opportunities here in my city. The industry is growing here, and I'm hoping to land an industry job somewhere as a junior background artist or even an asset artist! Book illustrations maybe? Who knows!
There's closing in on six weeks left in the term. There's still more for us to learn, but now a lot of time is gonna be dedicated to our grad show, where we'll invite industry executives, artists, and random walk-ins to check out our portfolios and student work. That kind of event needs money to rent space, equipment, helpers, and refreshments, so we've started up a Ko-Fi account and I'm selling stuff over at Redbubble to raise the necessary funds. Any help will be appreciated by me and the 45+ other students in the program!

I'm also considering opening up a few sketch commissions, probably in at the $15 mark to raise more cash munny. I gotta get some assignments done first, but I'll keep y'all posted when I have some time to scribble out some fine arts!
