all well and good. I am still waiting on my old Kamen Rider Commission from last year.
Hm 320 grit is the highest (finest) sandpaper I've seen, I use it on the John Deere points every other year. That ring looks like a hard candy...
I managed to round it out and finish it up with some kind of unspecified grit on an emery board-- i mean, it was almost as smooth as paper. really nice. probably something like 100000000000000 grit. I also dug out my dremel heads and hit it with some jewelers rouge so now its the ultimate shiny in the entire planet! only problem is that i polished it so much that its hard to distinguish the copper and the brass layers, so i left it out a while and let it get a little bit of oxidation so now its both shiny and high-contrast.
the urge to eat it is slowly oozing away but every once in a while, i just...

I never fancied (for eating) the green striped ones anyway. It's fabulous work, my Pop would've been proud! He loved his rock tumbler, engraving pen, welder, torch, spray paint. He loved Hammerite paint, that stuff with the glass beads in it? Really pretty stuff, especially when it ran a bit. It was made thick to cover rust, so it can be cut quite a lot!
